Routine Maintenance

Electro Freeze recommends the following schedule to help maintain your Model
GEN-2080 Combination Soft Serve/Shake Freezer in like-new operating condition.
Take the time to learn and perform these routine procedures and receive in return
many years of valuable service from your freezer. Protect your investment!
1. Disassemble, wash, rinse, sani-
tize, air dry, reassemble and sanitize all
parts that come into contact with the mix
or product.
To prevent bacteria growth,
remove ALL O-rings when
cleaning. Failure to do so
could create a health hazard.
2. Clean the cylinder inlet tube,
drain tube and mix tube with the appro-
priate brushes.
3. When cleaning, inspect all
O-rings, seals and hoses. Replace any
O-ring, seal or hose that is worn, torn, or
loose fitting.
4. Wipe all exterior surfaces of the
freezer to remove any splattered mix.
5. Check overrun and temperature
of the product.

1. Contact your local distributor for
the initial oil change of the gear reducer.

WEEKLY
1. Carefully inspect all parts for
wear, including seals, O-rings, mix
transfer tubes, and blades.
2. Replace as required.
Replace blades if worn 5mm (3/16") or
more.
3. Check the beater shanks
and drive coupling for wear.
A worn shank will have a nonparallel
shape on the drive opening.
