No alarm when there is no logical ↑ assignment
If a device is read in on the ↑ 'Station' on the interactive detector line, but is not
assigned to any logical element in the configuration, the device cannot indicate an
alarm. No alarm will be indicated on the line when an alarm is triggered.
To expand an interactive detector line by adding a new device, follow the steps
below:
1. Switch the ↑ detector line off. Link [➙ 82]
2. Mount and wire the new devices. Link [➙ 49], same process as for FDnet
devices.
3. Read in the devices. You will find more information in chapter 'Commissioning
of control panel with interactive detector line [➙ 69]'.
4. Connect the PC to the ↑ 'Station'. Link [➙ 27]
5. Load the configuration from the 'Station' to the PC. Link [➙ 32]
6. Configure the new devices. Link [➙ 50], same process as for FDnet devices.
7. Load the configuration from the PC to the 'Station'. Link [➙ 30]
8. Test the function of the 'Site'. Link [➙ 91]
9. Remedy any errors you notice and load the corrected configuration from the
PC to the 'Station'. Link [➙ 30]
10. Disconnect the PC from the 'Station'. Link [➙ 27]
To replace a device on the interactive detector line with one of a different type,
follow the steps below:
1. Remove the device that you want to replace for good. Link [➙ 72]
2. Add the new device to the ↑ detector line. Link [➙ 71]
