Station: Updating the FW of the main CPU and additional CPUs
3. Click on 'OK' in the 'Information' window.
 The following window is opened:
4. Select 'Run in background' in order to run the firmware update in the
background while continuing to work in SintesoWorks.
 The active firmware update is indicated by the
hand side of the status bar.
 Pop-up windows in the bottom right-hand corner of the software will notify
you when the firmware download and the firmware update are complete.
 After the restart, the 'Station' display shows the available BDVs. It is not
necessary to install a ↑ BDV at this point.
You will find information on the ↑ CPU card FCC2004, the LED matrix display,
and operating the 'S8' button in document 008837. See chapter 'Applicable
documents'.
ϖ You are familiar with the information in chapter 'Preparation and security
[➙ 117]'.
1. Select 'Update' > 'FW update main and additional CPUs' from the menu bar.
2. If the 'Password check' window is open, enter the password '1234' and click on
'OK'.
3. NOTICE! Data loss. Save the configuration data before updating the firmware.
Saving the configuration data also backs up specific system data which is
only available on the 'Station'. This includes modified customer texts, time
stamps of recent alarms, or persistent commands.
 The 'FW update main and additional CPUs' window opens.
