Appendix A: RS-232C Connection

The RS-232C connector on the rear panel is a 9-pin connector (DB-9, male connector). The
RS-232C connector bus signal is defined as below.

(1) Pin 1 and pin 9 (+5V) are for 63800 series Remote Controller only.
(2) The short switch pins, pin 4 and pin 6, will be shorted when SHORT key is
pressed.
