Out of Frequency Range (FREQ ERR)

If frequency measurement is out of range (45Hz ~ 440Hz), FREQ ERR (Frequency Error) will
be generated and shown on the front panel.

Under Operating Voltage Protection (UVP)

While the load is operated to sink current, the voltage is dropped through the output
impedance of the test unit. The load will stop driving the current to protect the load and the
test unit. The user has to reduce the value of the current or the value of the crest factor, and
the load will operate normally.

Load Fail (LDF)

The LDF warning occurred conditions: 1. The loading when voltage is 0V. 2. Draw the
voltage to 0V as loading. 3. Load hardware abnormal. 4. When the voltage and the load
current starts oscillating.
All of the protections or alarms will latch when they are tripped. When OV,
OC, OP and OT protections or alarm occurs, the load will turn off the input,
and beep till you remove the condition and reset the protection by pressing
ENTER. When LDF occurs, users need to press the power switch to restart
the AC load. If AC load can not function normally after restarting, please
contact Chroma sales or service office.
To protect the Electronic Load from possible damage, the input voltage
CAUTION
must not exceed the maximum input voltage rating specification.

Transient Over Pressure Protection(OVPP)

If there is transient surge pressure occurred when using the load, it may cause the damage of
power component. The transient over pressure protection function is proceeding the warning for
this part, protection point is set at 570V
When the transient over voltage warning is occurred, please turn off the power of UUT.
Otherwise the unfixable damage of the electronic load will be resulted from abnormal voltage
connection for power device.

5.10 Power Fail (PWRFAIL)

While the input power is fail, it may cause some specified components stop operating that affects
the function under running. The fail protection function is proceeding the warning for this part.
When the input power fail warning is occurred, please ensure whether AC input voltage on
rear panel is accordance with the specification and the switch is correct.
