▪ Using a shelf
a) Install the shelf, supplied by the rack manufacturer, in the rack.
b) Mount the Collaboration Server unit on the shelf.
c) Fasten the RealPresence Collaboration Server to the rack with screws through the eight
holes in the RMX 4000 front mounting brackets.

To install the RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 4000 in a 23" rack:
Procedure
1. Mounting the RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 4000 on a 23" rack requires that first the
handles and then the 19" brackets be removed from the MCU, as shown in the figure below.
Removing and attaching 19" and 23" brackets
2. After removal, attach the 23" brackets as provided in the Rack Installation Accessories kit, and re-
install the handles to the 23" brackets, as shown in the figure below.
