CNTL 4000 Unit

Replace the CNTL 4000 Module

Ensure that the power switch or circuit switch on the RMX 4000 is turned OFF (O).
To replace the CNTL 4000 module:
Procedure
1. Unscrew the captive screws on the front panel of the CNTL 4000 Module that secure the module
to the chassis.
2. Use the metal ejector lever to pull the CNTL 4000 Module out of its slot in the backplane.
3. Carefully slide the CNTL 4000 module out through the front panel.

Description
ON-Major system error. In case of an active
alarm this light is ON, and the RDY green is
OFF.
OFF-Normal.
Flashes-During system startup.
ON-CPU card has successfully completed
startup. This light turns green after completing
the entire system configuration.
OFF-Turns OFF when the ERR red LED is
activated.
Flashes-During system startup.
ON-At least one endpoint is connected to the
system.
Flashes-During system startup.
OFF-Normal.
Flashes-Hard disk is active.
Flashes-Indicates when the power
down process is initiated on an
MPMRx card. This LED flashes in
synchronization with the MPMRx
cards HS LED.
OFF - Normal
ON-CPU may be removed.
