CPU Daughter Board (J1 Jumper)

Figure 8-4 shows the system default setting for the J1 jumper on the CPU daughter board.
For information on the fail-safe loader, which is activated through the J1 jumper, refer to
Chapter 2.

Standard boot setting
Power up with backup cache disabled: Allows the system to run despite
bad B-cache until a replacement CPU board is available.
Power up to the fail-safe loader with backup cache disabled.
