Push in the lower portion of the side-positioning conveyor unit
horizontally.
u NOTE u
Push the side-positioning conveyor unit horizontally without lifting it. Otherwise,
the upper portion of the side-positioning conveyor unit might come into contact
with the ceiling of the housing, resulting in deformation or damage of the guide of
the side-positioning conveyor unit.
REFERENCE
When the lower portion of the side-positioning conveyor unit is pushed in, the pin
(lower) for retaining with the subscanning unit is inserted into its retained position.

Push in the upper portion of the side-positioning conveyor unit
horizontally.

Push the side-positioning conveyor unit horizontally without lifting it. Otherwise,
the upper portion of the side-positioning conveyor unit might come into contact
with the ceiling of the housing, resulting in deformation or damage of the guide of
the side-positioning conveyor unit.
REFERENCE
When the upper portion of the side-positioning conveyor unit is pushed in, the pin
(upper) for retaining with the subscanning unit gets caught with the guide inside
the subscanning unit, to have the side-positioning conveyor unit retained.
