11.2 Interferences Drive System

Interference
Stirrer does not start.
Possible cause
Parameter Stirrer is not activated.
Setpoint of parameter Stirrer = 0.
Parameter pO is activated and set

to oxygen control via the stirrer (cas-
cade).
Interference
Motor control is volatile, irregular or stops.
Possible cause
PID settings of parameter Stirrer are
not correct
Interference
Unusual sounds when the stirrer is activated.
Possible cause
Stirrer is in contact with other vessel
built-in components.

No temperature control.
Possible cause
Parameter Temperature is not acti-
vated.
Parameter Stirrer is not activated.

Remedy
Activate the parameter.
Set setpoint > 0.
Switch cascade off and test operation via parameter
Stirrer.
Remedy
Reset to default settings
Remedy
Stop the bioreactor. Shutdown the system and turn
off the equipment.
Correctly mount the mounting parts of the culture
vessel while observing internal safety regulations.
Remedy
Activate the parameter.
