Monitoring errors

Fundamentals
Monitoring functions that run automatically can be activated
and deactivated by parametrisation.
The activation of monitoring functions helps to guarantee the
functionality of the machine/system and to avoid unnecess
ary idle periods. The deactivation of monitoring functions
helps to avoid disturbing error messages, e.g.:
During commissioning
During an EMERGENCY STOP, if the EMERGENCY STOP
concept of the machine/system requires that the load
voltage for the valves and output modules be switched
off. The error messages (e.g undervoltage), which are
triggered when the load voltage is switched off, should be
frequently suppressed here.
CPX parametrisation
The CPX terminal permits the monitoring of various types of
fault (e.g. short circuit, wire fracture, undervoltage, etc.). The
different monitoring functions can be activated or deactivated
globally by system parameters for the complete CPX terminal
and by module parameters for a single CPX module or an
individual channel. Activation of a monitoring function causes
