You can influence the signal states of the CPX terminal
through the following functions:
Brief description
Influences signal states independently of actual
signal states (see also section C.3.1)
Determines signal states that become effective with
fieldbus communication faults (see also section
C.3.2)
Determines signal states that become effective
when changing into the Idle status (see also section
C.3.3)
If several functions are active at the same time, the following
applies:
Force signals have the highest priority
Fail−safe signals have precedence over Idle mode signals.

Influencing output signals

With system parameters, you enter the fundamental settings
for the respective function. With appropriate setting of the
system parameter, you can determine, through channel−
specific module parameters, the desired signal state for each
channel individually. The following diagrams give an overview
of this:
