TROUBLESHOOTING

9.3 When Communication with DP-Slaves Is Not Possible

The following shows the troubleshooting procedures when communications between the
QJ71PB92V and DP-Slaves are not possible.
Communication with DP-Slave is not possible.
Are PROFIBUS cables wired
terminator connected to the terminal
station of the network? Or is the specified bus
terminator used?
Is the PROFIBUS-DP
network configuration correct?
(No. of connected modules, etc.)
Has each station connected to
PROFIBUS-DP been powered ON?
Is the RUN LED on QJ71PB92V ON?
Is the PRM SET LED on QJ71PB92V OFF?
Is the FAULT LED on QJ71PB92V OFF?
