7. Entry of balancing mode and wheel
size
For determination of unbalance the following inputs have to be
made:
- balancing mode (weight fitting position on rim)
- wheel size (wheel width and diameter)
- distance between machine and left correction plane
The wheel dimensions to be entered are usually given on the
rim. Rim diameter is also given on the tire.
Rim width is entered by pressing and holding the relative
function key (Fig. 31, item 2) and rotating the wheel until the
desired value is read out. On releasing the function key the
input is retained until another input is made.

arm, but may also be entered by pressing and holding the
relative function keys (Fig. 31, items 1 and 3) and rotating the
wheel until the desired values are read out. On releasing the
