Defining a New User

To protect the Schemes and Data,
Users can define `lower levels' of Users
who do not require full access to the
system resources. Click on System then
select User administration. This opens the
Security Dialog.
Note: Properties can be moved from one
window to another using drag and drop.
To Create a New User
Select User Administration, User, Create New User
Type the new user name
Go to User Change Password, enter the new password and press OK
Click on a permission and drag it to the required window (Read Only or No Access)
Select other required permissions and repeat
Select User, Save
Don't forget your Password
Note: Users can grant access to new users they create only if they have access to the permissions
themselves.
If a number of permissions require dragging to another window, hold down the shift key, drag the
cursor over the required permissions to select a block of permissions then click on the highlighted
permissions and drag them to the required window.
Permissions - Permissions are used to transfer topics from one window to another in the same way
as drag and drop.
Select a topic in No Access, select Permissions/Move to Edit. The topic then moves to the Edit panel.
Use the Restore option from the Users dropdown list to return to the original Administrator selection.
Use the Delete option from the Users menu list to delete the selected User.
