Meter Constants

Transformer Ratios
The A1120/40 Meter can be supplied for the following types of connection:
Direct connected or CT operated.
The screen shows connection for a CT operated meter.
The maximum CT Ratio is 500:1
Performing a Billing Reset on CT Ratio Change
Check the panel to perform a billing reset when the meter CT Ratio is changed.
CT Ratio Display
The meter can display the CT as a ratio or as a scalar quantity. Check the panel to display as a CT
Ratio. Leave unchecked to display as scalar.
CT Error
The CT error can be compensated for.
To compensate for a CT error of +0.4%, enter a value of +0.4%, then a compensation value of -0.4%
will be applied.
Note: If the CT programming switch is fitted to the meter, the switch must be activated in order to
change the CT ratio.

Relay Setup

The pulsing output of the A1120/40 meter can be configured to one of the following options:
Retransmit
Rate indication
Retransmit
Retransmit is selected along with the appropriate Source,
Pulse value and the Pulse width.
Ensure that the chosen pulse value and pulse width leaves adequate gaps between pulses at
maximum meter loads.
