Power Master Unit

Import RES file - This retrieves meter readings from different locations such as a:\ to be transferred to
the Master Unit.
Import Scheme/meter - Import a Scheme or meter parameters from another source such as a floppy
disk or Network drive.
Export Scheme/meter - Export a Scheme or meter parameters to another source such as a floppy
disk or Network drive.
Options
Operation
Confirmation - Confirmation gives the option of
warning the user if schemes, meters or folders are
being moved or deleted.
Automatically Scan for Readings - When selected,
all readings files will be automatically imported in the
Scheme manager. The default of the scanning
frequency is 10 seconds, but this can be altered
using the scan frequency dropdown box.
If the Master Unit is networked or a low specification
PC is being used, leave this option unchecked for
faster Master Unit response. Check as required to
update the readings using the Automatically scan for
readings facility.
Passwords in Meters - This option allows the passwords of A1120/40 meters to be ignored.
Default Passwords - This option allows the default passwords to be entered and used as defaults in
the Meter Manager. The passwords must match the passwords programmed to the meter.
Note: Only uppercase alphanumeric characters may be used.
Transfer
Execute Meter List - This will execute the Meter list currently
selected.
Quicksend Scheme - This allows a Scheme currently selected
to be programmed to a meter, bypassing the Meter list.
Launch Communications Server - Opens the
Communications Server ready for a communications session
Launch CHIRPS - Opens CHIRPS ready for a communications session.
Launch OMS - Opens the Open Metering Systems software ready for a communications session with
a Hand Held Unit.
