Modem Installation
The modem connects to the meter in exactly the same way as the Technolog modem by using
standard At Hayes commands
The ASL modem communications parameters can be configured using an SMS text message
via a mobile phone.
The initial settings will depend on whether the meter is configured for a Standard Data to Read
or Data Stream Mode.
Standard Data to Read Mode

Parity = E
Stop Bits = 1
Flow Control = None
Inserting the SIM
The SIM should be set to the Service Provider settings detailed in Section C2, General
Information (About the SIM).
