A1 Exporting Readings as a Text Only File
Readings and Schemes can be exported and printed as a text only file by setting up a "generic/text
only" printer on port "file". This feature allows schemes/readings (or selected parts of) to be cut and
pasted into other applications such as Bug Collector Pro, Word etc.

Setting up the File printer

From the Main Window, choose Start/Settings/Printers
Select Add/New/Printer. The Add Printer Wizard appears
Press Next. Select File
Press Next. Select Manufacturer/Generic, Printer Generic/
Text only
Press Next. Select keep existing drivers
Press Next. Select No for default printer
Press Finish
A Print to File dialog appears
Name the file (text Printer)
All files output to this printer will be printed as text only files
and can be viewed in Notepad.
