6.10 DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS (CONTINUED)
6.10.4 REMOVING THE PUNCH ASSEMBLY
1.
Disconnect Power Cord from rear of machine.
2.
Remove the Housing.
3.
Remove the 4 Phillips Screws attaching the Bind Support to the Side Plates so it can
be moved as needed to access the Hex Nuts on the Punch Assembly Mounting
Screws.

Remove the Solenoid Socket Screws from rear of Punch Housing, and move
Solenoid away from Punch Housing.
5.
Remove the Left and Right 3/16 Socket Screws attaching the Z Brackets and Punch
Assembly to the Side Plates.
6.
Remove the Right Phillips Screw from the Punch Brake Switch (S8), and loosen the
Left Phillips Screw so the Switch can be moved out of the way for remo val of the
Left Punch Link.
7.
Loosen the Set Screw retaining the Punch Cam to the Crank, and Remove the
Punch Cam.
8.
Remove the Retaining Clips holding the Left and Right Punch Links, and Remove
the Punch Links.
9.
The Punch Assembly is now ready to be removed from the machine.
10. Reassemble in reverse order, and recheck the punch timing upon completion, and
before housing the machine.
