5.5 MECHANICAL OPERATION
5.5.10 BIND TIMING OPERATION - Figure 5-14
The Bind Timing is controlled by the Bind Timing Switch (S13), Camshaft, and Drive
Gear. Lowering the Pressure Bar actuates the Pressure Bar Switch (S11), starting the
bind cycle. As the Camshaft rotates, Bind Cycle Switch (S13) closes when the Lobe of
the Drive Gear (1) moves away from the Switch Actuator (6).
When the bind cycle is completed, the Lobe of the Drive Gear actuates the Bind Timing
Switch (S13) Actuator (after the Pressure Bar raises) and Camshaft rotation is stopped.
