PROBABLE CAUSE
Punch Actuator may be broken
or warped.
Check for elongated Punch
Housing Die Holes.
Punch Pins may be dull or
burred.
Punch Actuator Tabs may be
broken.
Punch Link Bearings may be
worn (out of round).
Punch Die
plugged with debris.
Punch Pins may be hanging
down - Punch Housing biased
too high.
Customer may be using surface
coated, or treated paper.
Replace Punch Actuator (9776364 -
VeloBind or 9781390 - SureBind).
Replace defective Punch Housing
(9778638 - VeloBind or 9781804 -
SureBind) if needed.
Replace Punch Pins (9778684) as
needed.
Replace Punch Actuator (9776364 -
VeloBind or 9781390 - SureBind).
Replace Punch Links (9778461) as
needed.
Holes may be Clean out Punch Die Holes.
Loosen Punch Housing Mounting
Bolts, and bias Punch Housing
down enough to prevent Punch Pins
from hanging down.
Advise customer that this type of
paper does not always punch clean.
