6.3 CAM/SOLENOID SWITCH (S22) ADJUSTMENT - Figure 6-3
1.
Disconnect Power Cord from the wall outlet.
2.
Remove the Housing, and remove the Bind Guide Assembly.
3.
Remove the Timing Belt from Bind Motor Pulley and Cam Shaft Pulley.
4.
Manually rotate the Cam Shaft until the Extruder Cam is at its highest point (flat will be
vertical to machine), then rotate approximately 3° further. (Note: "Key" is to the rear.)
5.
Loosen the Cam/Solenoid Switch (S22) Retaining Screws, and move switch so that Bottom
Retaining Screw is all the way right in the Switch Mounting Bracket Slot. Tighten the
Bottom Retaining Screw.
6.
Make sure Cam/Solenoid Switch (S22) is actuated, and tighten the Top Retaining Screw.
7.
Rotate the Cam Shaft back to ho me position.
8.
Replace the Timing Belt and Bind Guide Assembly.
9.
Test the adjustment in "Debind" Mode.
