No display on monitor
screen.

Monitor not turned on.
Contrast and brightness

Mouse/Tablet Problems
Suggested Solution
Check mraiitor on/off switch.
Check monitor power cable at both ends.
Adjust contrast and brightness controls.
Pointixig device (mouse or
optional tablet) points does
not appear on screen, or
monitor does not req)cnid to
pointing device commands.
Pointing device cable is
installed incorrectly or is
loose.
Turn off ^stem. Unplug and then replug the
cable to reset the device.
The qrstem is in console
mode; no pointer appears
on the screen.
Ixistall your windowing software.
Pointing device is faulty. Replace with another pointing device, or call
your Distal service representative.
Keyboord Problems
Keys do not work. Hold Screen key is active.
Press Hold Screen key to release hold on
screen.
Keyboard cable loose or not
connected.
Check kej^oard cable at botii ends.
Keyboard failure.
Replace with another keyboard. If problem
persists, contact your Digital service
representative.
