4.9.3 Removing a Tape Cartridge
Figiire 4-15 shows how to unload and remove a tape cartridge.

Raise the cartridge
release handle.
Lower the cartridge
release handle.
Release the load/unload button
to the out (unload) position.
The red and green lights flash
slowly as the tape rewinds.
When the tape is completely
unloaded, the red light goes off
and the green light comes on.
Remove the tape cartridge
and store it in its plastic
container.
