Digital Operator COPY Function Faults

These faults can occur occurred during the operator COPY function. Fault content is displayed on the operator. An error
during the COPY function does not activate the fault contact output or alarm output.

o3-01 was set to 1 to write a parameter
PRE
when the Digital Operator was
write-protected (o3-02 = 0).
The read data length does not agree.
IFE
The write data is incorrect.
RDE
An attempted write of a parameter to
EEPROM on the Digital Operator failed.
CPE
The Drive product code or software number
is different.
The capacity of the Drive being copied and
VAE
the capacity in the Digital Operator are
different.
The control method of the Drive being
CRE
copied and the control method in the
Digital Operator are different.
The parameter written to the Drive was
CYE
compared with the parameter in the Digital
Operator and they were different.
The checksum in the Drive parameter area
CSE
was compared with the checksum in the
Digital Operator parameter area and they
were different.
VYE
The set value of the digital operator and the
Drive do not match.

Probable Causes
Corrective Action
Set o3-02 to 1 to enable writing parameters
with the Digital Operator.
• Repeat the Read.
• Check the Digital Operator cable.
• Replace digital operator.
• A low Inverter voltage has been detected.
• Repeat the read
• Replace Digital Operator.
Use COPY function for the same product
code and software number.
Use COPY function for the same Drive
capacity.
Use the COPY function for the same con-
trol method.
COPY retest
Retry the copy.
Retry Verify function
After COPY is retested, Verify is retested
