Code 128
Usage:
Code 128 is a smaller symbology useful in applications with tight spots
and high security needs.
Definition:
A very dense alphanumeric symbology. It encodes all 128 ASCII charac-
ters; it is continuous, has variable length, and uses multiple element
widths measured edge to edge.
Code 128 Status
Serial Cmd:

put format,application record separator status,application record separator
character,application record brackets,application record padding>
Default:
Disabled
Options:
0 = Disabled
Fixed Symbol Length Status (Code 128)
Definition:
When enabled the scanner will check the symbol length against the sym-
bol length field. When disabled any length would be considered a valid
symbol.

0 = Disabled
Symbol Length (Code 128)
Usage:
Fixed Symbol Length helps prevent truncations and increases data
integrity by ensuring that only one symbol length will be accepted.
Definition:
Specifies the exact number of characters that the scanner will recognize
(this does not include start and stop and check digit characters). The
scanner ignores any symbol not having the specified length.

Note: Fixed Symbol Length Status must be enabled for Symbol Length to take effect.
