Firmware Verification — Checksum
A checksum verifies a scanner's flash memory.
By ESP
1. From the
Utilities
menu you can access
ware
tab.
2. Select the firmware code you want to check and click
the associated part number.
By Serial Command
Upon sending

the scanner returns two 4-digit hex numbers that are the check
sums for boot code and the application code.
Individual checksums for Boot Code and Application Code are returned when their
respective commands
