Graphics board

The graphics board provides the external DVI port for the optional monitor video cable
connection. You can only connect your monitor to the DVI port. The model and appearance
of the board may vary between systems. No additional software is required to use the DVI
port provided by the board.

O REMOVE THE GRAPHICS BOARD
1. Shut down the imagePRESS Server, remove all of the cables from the back, and then open the
system (see

In order to access the graphics board, you must remove the left panel. Make sure that you have
removed the DVI cable from the back of the imagePRESS Server.
2. Remove the bracket cover plate from the back panel (see
You must remove the bracket cover plate in order to access the bracket screws for the graphics
board.
3. Remove and set aside the bracket screw that attaches the board mounting bracket to the back
panel.
4. Remove the graphics board from its motherboard PCI connector.
Grasp the board at the front and back edge and gently pull the board straight out of its
connector on the motherboard. Be careful not to damage or disconnect any motherboard
cables that are installed nearby.
Tilt the board so that the mounting bracket clears the chassis slot, and remove the board from
the chassis.

If you have difficulty clearing the chassis slot, remove the two screws that secure the

metal port cover to the mounting bracket. Remove and set aside the cover so that you can
reinstall it later.
5. Place the removed board in an antistatic bag.
