3.3 Power source
Note
Please read the following instructions carefully before connecting the router!
3.3.1 Connecting the power supply
The Teldat H2 RAIL is powered by a 110 V or 24 V nominal DC power source depending on the model.
Note
Please verify device power input is valid for your power feeding.
There is no on/off switch or fuse. A label on the rear of the equipment contains the power supply information.
The following image shows the location of the power connector.

The power connector on this router is an M12 4-pole code A male connector or equivalent.

Teldat H2 RAIL
To comply with electrical safety regulations, this equipment must be connected to
the vehicle power network through a 1 amp approved thermo-magnetic circuit
breaker (ABB-S281-UC-K-1 or equivalent).
The H2 Rail has one earth terminal (on the rear panel). It must be grounded
through a cable with a section measuring, at least, 2 mm
This equipment must be grounded. Never defeat the ground conductor or operate
the equipment in the absence of a suitably installed ground conductor. Contact the
appropriate electrical inspection authority or an electrician if you are uncertain that
suitable grounding is available. When installing or replacing the unit, the ground
connection must always be established first and disconnected last.
