Server warnings and cautions

WARNING:
This server is very heavy. To reduce the risk of personal injury or damage to the equipment:
Observe local occupational health and safety requirements and guidelines for manual handling.
Reduce the weight of the server by removing the drives before installing or removing the server from
the chassis.
Obtain adequate assistance to lift and stabilize the server during installation or removal. Hewlett
Packard Enterprise recommends that a minimum of two people are required for installing or
removing the server from the chassis. A third person might be required to help align the server if the
server is installed higher than chest level.
Use caution when installing or removing the server from the chassis; it is unstable when the server
locks are not engaged with the chassis.
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the drives and the internal system
components to cool before touching them.
CAUTION:
Electrostatic discharge can damage electronic components. Be sure you are properly grounded before
beginning this procedure.
