12. Install the drive cage assembly.
13. Connect the cables to the drive backplane:
a. Connect the power cable.
b. Connect the Mini-SAS cables. Install the cables according to their labels as MINI-SAS 0 or MINI-SAS
1. The labels are on both the cables and their connections.
14. Install the air baffle.
If the 4:1 riser signal cable or Smart Storage Battery are installed in the air baffle, reconnect the cables to
the risers. For more information, see "Installing the air baffle."
15. Install the access panel.
16. Install the server into the chassis.
17. Connect all peripheral cables to the server .
18. Power up the server .
