User's Manual (2D)
You can set the X-ray unit so that the C-arm moves up at
the start of all 2D exposures (panoramic, TMJ and sinus).
To do this, first go to information display Set panoramic
imaging vertical offset (i27.3) and adjust the vertical offset
value between 0-20 millimetres (default 0 mm).
The selected vertical offset (e.g. 10 mm) will be shown on
the main display. The C-arm will now automatically move
up at the start of an exposure, i.e. the image area will be
shifted 10 millimetres upwards.
Vertical offset 0 mm
The X-ray unit offers two patient entry positions: Entry 1
and Entry 2. You can use either of them according to your
individual preference.
Selecting Go Entry 1 will move the C-arm to the back,
away from the patient positioning area. This full view
position allows you to monitor and adjust the patient's
position freely from all directions.
Selecting Go Entry 2 will position the C-arm around the
temple supports. This is the traditional closed patient
entry position.
NOTE If needed, the Go Entry 1 function can be disabled on
information display i230. This might be necessary if
there is no space for the C-arm to move back.
