Connection

Input
Connect the USB cable to the corresponding input connector on the back panel of the projector.
In the SCREEN installation type, the "Centering" process has to be done before to close the
screw that fix the bracket to the projector (see "Submenu SCREEN – Centering").
To access the COLOR SENSOR submenu press the ● button on the remote control, or through
the keypad button O on the back panel of the projector.

Operation

Connect the Color Probe to the USB connector on the back panel of the projector.
As soon as the connection was successful, in the IMAGE menu, a new submenu called "COLOR
SENSOR" will be visible (this submenu will not be present if the probe was not connected
properly).
Press the ● button on the remote control to access to the related submenu.
Note: if the probe is not connected, the submenu COLOR SENSOR will show only the "Restore
User Settings Values" feature. This will allow to reset all the calibrations previously made with
the probe.
Note: if the projector hasn't got the Color Probe as a standard accessory, contact your local
dealer to obtain the serial number necessary to enable the COLOR SENSOR features.
There are two possible mounting configurations for the probe:
SCREEN
AMBIENT
SCREEN:
The probe is installed in such a way so that it points toward the center of the projection screen.
Note: the "Centering" process has to be done before to close the screw that fix the bracket to
the projector (see "Submenu SCREEN – Centering" at page 40).
AMBIENT:
The probe is installed in such a way so that it points towards any part of the surrounding
environment.
Use the switch next to the "Installation Type" to select the SCREEN or the AMBIENT dedicated
