Introduction

The AUTOCAL® allows to use new features into the projector main menu.
After the successful connection of the probe to the projector, the color sensor submenu will be
available under the Color menu.

Installation

This section provides instructions for the installation of the AUTOCAL®.
Important:

Location

When installing the AUTOCAL®, take the following considerations into account.
There are two possible types of installations:
1. SCREEN
2. AMBIENT
For the first case the probe allows to measure the native colors (in order to preserve the lamp life),
the compensation of the white point and the presence of ambient lighting (non-continuous
measurement). The installation of the probe should be done in such a way that the lens is directed
toward to the center of the screen where the image is projected.
In the second case the probe allows to perform a compensation in the ongoing time of the ambient
light background. The installation of the probe should be done in such a way that the lens is directed
towards a point in the room where to measure the environmental conditions of projection.
In both cases, the probe lens cap has to be lifted up.
