The AR is a dual-mode 3-chip 3D DLP projector that is based on the SUPERLUMIS platform.
It produces images with the same exceptional black level and contrast performance of the SU -
PERLUMIS, being able to emulate the best 3D cinema projection systems, in terms of color fideli -
ty, definition and depth of image.
In addition, the AR features a unique optical color processing technology that provides a DCI
compatible color reproduction, as well as the standard HDTV (REC 709) one ("HC" denotes "Hy-
per Color"). A motorized Sliding Filter System (SFS) inside the optical engine allows for an almost
instantaneous color gamut change, obtained via optical components only, with no need of elec-
tronic compensation.
AR now delivers greater light output thanks to a more powerful 350W lamp and the option of
high brightness lenses. The improved optical light engine now includes Perfect Fit, a fully-pro -
grammable zoom, focus and lens shift feature which enables a lens-free option to create 2.40:1
images.
