3. After the download process, the upgrade file is into the projector and the web page will
be completed in the "Update version" column with the information coming from the
downloaded file.
Warning: Before to proceed with the projector upgrade, make sure that the projector is in ON
state with a stable signal projected (no testpattern).
4. Press the "Upgrade" button to start the upgrading of any of the devices that have its
"Update version" number higher than the relative "Current version".
The upgrade phase will take some minutes (10 minutes maximun), it depends of the number
of devices have to be updated. During the upgrade process the Software upgrade tab gives
the updating feedback in realtime.
The feedback messages are:
Enter Programming Mode...: it start the upgrade process.

Upgrading Ended: the upgrade process ended successfully.

Updating Interrupted: an error occurred during the upgrade process. In this case it is
•
possible to repeat the update process.
Download from USB: this method is possible if no other a connection are available for the projector.
The projector software versions are available contacting our customer care or connecting to the
address available as addendum to this manual.
To find the software regarding your projector, enter into the above ftp address and check the
directory that has the same name of your projector model. Inside the directory there will be one or
more directory like "vn.m", where "n" and "m" are two integer positive number. In any of these
directory there will find four files.
Ex (for a SIRIO projector, firmware update version v2.9) :
1. checksum.md5
2. releasenote.txt
3. SIM2_SIRIO_v2.9_20140129
4. version.txt
The file "release note" contains the list of implemented features and fixed bugs regarding the version
