are seven dedicated softwares to control a specific part of projector:
1. Web App : web interface and monitoring system
2. Main micro: image scaler/processing and OSD
3. 2D/3D micro: enhanced 2D and 3D image
4. Standby micro: manage the standby state
5. DLP micro: manage the DLP tecnology
6. Lens micro: manage the lens and motors control
7. DB micro: manage the Dynamic Black function
All the above softwar are included in a single file "Main software" and its version is visible at the top
of the list (in the
image below

SIM2 Multimedia
provides an ftp site
where
software versions are
available (only for the
projector models with
LAN connectivity)
There are two ways
to download
upgrading file:
1. Search from FTP
2. Download from
USB
Push the
button to run one of
those choices.
Search from FTP: this method is possible only if the projector is connected to the network. When the
button is pressed, the projector automatically will be connected to the SIM2 ftp site and the available
versions for your model will be checked.
1. Read the release note (clicking on this icon
version and press the "Download Version" button to start the download.
The release note contains in text format the list of implemented features and bugs fixed
related to the previous version.
2. At the end of the download process, the projector will check the file content and will give a
feedback regarding its correctly downloads. A "Checksum valid!" expression will appear if
the check of the file is correct.
