If the projector displays two distorted images side by side or one on top of each other,
select the 3D menu by pressing II on the remote control.
Select 3D mode via the OSD (this will expand the menu). Select the correct version of
the 3D format using the up/down/left/right keys.
Switch on your 3D glasses. Refer to the instructions supplied with the glasses to ensure
correct operation.
Important:
fore it is perfectly normal for the 3D image to be noticeably dimmer when compared to the pic-
ture in 2D mode. Adjust the 3D picture and lamp settings accordingly for 3D viewing.
3D Glasses
Follow the simple instructions below to operate your 3D glasses.
Turning ON your glasses
Shortly press button once (see "3D Glasses" on page 11). You will see the red LED indicator
change from off to bright, and then turn off again. You are now in SIM2 Cinema mode and the
glasses and the projector are synced. If, for any reason, the glasses behave differently, reset
them (see below).
If glasses cannot find 3D RF emitter within few seconds, LED will ramp from bright to off and
glasses will automatically shut down. If glasses find the RF emitter they will automatically con-
nect to it, indicating by lit LED for 1 second.
Turning OFF Your Glasses
Shortly press button once (see "3D Glasses" on page 11). You will see the red LED indicator
change from bright to off. Glasses will shut down.

Additional adjustments are required:
to view 3D content
to select the desired Optical Color Filter
When HDMI1 or HDMI2 is selected and a valid HDMI signal is present, press II on the remote to
access the specific OSD menu.
Optical Filter Type
Normal selects the optical color filter that increases image brightness. Use this settings
when HDTV primaries are desired
DCI selects the optical color filter that enables the larger color gamut. Use this settings
when DCI primaries are desired
3D Mode
3D activates 3D mode and the RF emitter will be activated. Automatic selection is deter-
mined by the source sending the projector the correct information. If the incorrect 3D
image is displayed after approximately 10 seconds go to the 3D Input Format and ma -
nually select the correct 3D mode for the incoming signal.
2D display mode for normal 2D material. 3D Input Format adjustment is unavailable. Pu -
reMotion adjustment is available.
3D Input Format
The AR checks AVI infoframe data and input signal resolution in order to determine the appro -
priate 3D format. When automatic detection of 3D format is not possible, choose one of the fol -
lowing options:
