unsuccessfully, a message "Not Done" will be shown and the repeating of the process is needed.

The measured value with this process will be used in the Continuous Ambient Light Compensation

process.

Note:

It is possible to run the Continuous Ambient Light Compensation process even without

executing the Background Light Measure, but doing so, the system will apply a default luminance

value which, obviously, does not accurately reflect the characteristics of the projection enviroment.

Maximum light measure

This process has to be done in light room conditions

(all the lights turned on)

Maximum Light Measure process is used for room

luminance

conditions.

Press the ● button on the remote control to run this

process. The projector will show a grey test pattern

and the probe will measure the maximum light of the

surrounding environment.

If the test has run successfully, the value detected will be shown, while if the test has run

unsuccessfully, a message "Not Done" will be shown and the repeating of the process is needed.

The value measured with this process will be used in the Ambient Light Compensation process.

Note:

It is possible to run the Ambient Light Compensation process even without executing the

Maximum Light Measure, but doing so, the system will apply a default luminance value which,

obviously, does not accurately reflect the characteristics of the projection enviroment.

Continuous ambient light compensation

The

Continuous Ambient Light Compensation

process sets the values of lamp power and gamma

correction in order to compensate the environment

light.

Press the

◂ ▸

enable or disable the process of Continuous Ambient

Light Compensation. The process will measure

continuously the

environment. The system will elaborate these data

and, as a result, the projector parameters will change gradually accordingly to the environmental

conditions used.

Note:

if the process is enabled (ON) the continuous measurement of ambient light will run in

background even if the projector will be restarted.

Restore user settings

Press the ● button on the remote to run the

RESTORE USER SETTINGS.

This process will erase the measured values by the
