3. press ● to open the corresponding pull-down menu
4. press ▴ and ▾ to highlight Save initial settings

The confirmation message "Initial settings saved in Memory
icon now indicates that the memory does not store custom values.
Note:
The other memories are unaffected.
Rename
To change the name of each memory:
1. press the Memory key on the remote to display Memories menu
2. press ▴ and ▾ to highlight the desired memory
3. press ● to open the corresponding pull-down menu
4. press ▴ and ▾ to highlight Rename
5. press ● on the remote control to enter Text Entry menu
6. use ◂ and ▸ to underline the character you would like to change
7. enter the desired symbol using 1-9 on the remote control
8. cycle through steps 6. and 7. until you have finished entering your custom label
9. press ● on the remote control to save the label you have entered, or Esc to discard your
changes
Important:
put is saved in a temporary memory, numbered 0 and called Auto. After recalling one or more
memories for the current input, you will be able to revert to Auto settings at any time, provided
that you do not exit Memory menu by pressing Esc.

Info

Displays a summary of the projector settings
This function is displayed by pressing Info on the remote control.

Quick Menus

The quick menus provide access to the main adjustments that affect image quality without ope-
ning the main menu. The adjustments Brightness, Contrast, Color, Tint, Sharpness, Filter and
Noise Reduction will appear on after the other in the lower part of the screen by pressing ▴ or
▾.

Messages

The following messages may appear on your screen:
No signal. The projector does not recognize any signal applied to the selected input. In
this case:
◦ make sure the selected input is connected to a video or graphic signal and that this
◦ check the condition of the cables used to connect the system to the various sources.
◦ make sure the video or graphic signals supplied by the source are compatible with
Out of range. This message appears when either the resolution or the vertical/horizon-
tal frequency of the input signal exceeds system specifications (for example a QXGA gra-
phic signal).
