Parts for supporting the magnetic way
(To be provided by the customer)
Note: The shape shown in the
figure is an example.

Install the linear guide and the parts for supporting the magnetic way on
the machine side.
• Set the positions of the parts for supporting the magnetic way after checking
the outer dimension of the magnetic way referring to Table 2.1.
• In most case, the length of the magnetic way is regarded as the side where the
nameplate 0.1 mm thick indicating the ratings and a caution about the mag-
netic attraction.
• Construct the machine so that the difference between the centers of the cross-
sectional surfaces of the magnetic way and the moving coil should be within
0.2 mm. Refer to the following diagram.

Take the product out of the package with the moving coil and the
magnetic way being combined (same as the state when the product is
delivered).
Insert both ends of the magnetic way in the supporting parts, and fix
them with bolts.
• Refer to Table 2.1 Dimensions of the Magnetic Way (Selected models only).
Install the product so that the nameplate can be read.
In particular, be careful so that the caution about the
magnetic attraction is easily visible.

Fix these positions with bolts.
