Chapter 2 System Installation with the Content-
Server 4000 Series
NOTE: The figures in this section show a two-rack unit server; however, the same rack rails are used for
the ContentDirector 1000F/2000C and ContentBridge 2010F.
1. Pull the blue release button (component F) to remove inner member (component D) from the
slides.

2. Install the slides to the rack as follows:
a. Align the brackets to the desired vertical position on the rack.
b. Using the screws provided, fasten the rear brackets to the rear rack posts. Use two
screws for each bracket.
c. Fasten the front brackets to the front rack posts. Use one screw for each bracket and
place it in the top-most hole.
