Altitude
preselect captures are

capture
the
MDA.
Glideslope

preclude
a preselect altitude capture on an
ILS.

Autopilot

maintain the
selected
altitude.
NOTE
It is recommended by the FAA
(ACOO-24B)
to
use
basic
"PITCH
ATIITUDE HOLD" mode during operation in
severe
turbulence.
However, since this
autopilot
does not use
the
attitude
gyro
as a
pitch reference, it is recommended that
the
autopilot
be disconnected and that the
airplane be
flown
by hand in
severe
turbulence.
c. Changing altitudes:
1) Using
Vertical
Speed
(Recommended
for
altitude
changes less
than 100
ft.)
