LUBBER LINE --
Indicates relative or magnetic heading of the
aircraft.
The
heading
must be
manually
input by the pilot with
the heading
(HOG) knob
.
14. COMPASS
CARD
--
Manually rotatable card
that indicates
relative or magnetic
heading
of aircraft, as selected by
HOG
knob.
15.
BEARING
POINTER
--
Indicates relative
or magnetic bearing
to
station
as
selected by
HOG
knob.
If the
relative
heading
of
North (N) is manually selected
under the
lubber line by
the
pilot,
then the
bearing pointer indicates the relative bearing to
the
station.
If
the aircraft's
magnetic
heading is selected
under
the lubber
line
by the pilot, then the bearing pointer
indicates
the
magnetic bearing
to the
station
.
16.
HEADING
KNOB (HOG) --Rotates card to set in relative or
magnetic heading of aircraft.
