GPS MESSAGE
(MSG)
ANNUNCIATOR
LIGHT
--
MSG
will
begin flashing whenever the
message
prompt (a
large
"M
"
on
the
left
side of
the screen)
on
the
KLN 89B GPS
unit begins
flashing
to alert the
pilot
that a message
is
waiting.
Press the
Message (MSG) key on
the
GPS
to display the
message.
If
a
message condition exists which
requires
a specific action by
the pilot, the message annunciator will
remain
on but will
not
flash.
2.
GPS WAYPOINT
(WPT)
ANNUNCIATOR LIGHT -- GPS
WAYPOINT annunciator will
begin
to flash
approximately
36
seconds prior
to
reaching a Direct-To waypoint.
Also, when
turn anticipation is
enabled in
the KLN 89B GPS
unit,
the
annunciator
will begin to flash 20 seconds prior to the
beginning of turn anticipation
,
then
illuminate
steady at the
very beginning
of turn
anticipation.
