Section 5 - Advanced Network Configuration
A static route tells network devices about an exact, fixed (hard-coded) destination. Static routes can work well
with small networks. There are two kinds of static routing: Static Route and Protocol-Binding. The Static Route
uses IP address to determine the next hop, whereas Protocol-Binding use protocol. Configuring your wireless
controller for static routing allows data transfers between it and a routing device without using dynamic routing
protocols.
