OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
2. Select Sort the records from the options window
to open the sort windows.
Select fields
ID
L_NAME
F_NAME
DEPT
CLEAR
STREET
CITY
STATE
ZIP
3. Select the name of the first field to be used for sorting.
(Use ↑ or ↓ to highlight the name, then press Enter).
The selected field name will appear in the
Sort by window.
4. Repeat step 3 until all the desired fields have been se-
lected for sorting.
Note: To remove a field name from the Sort by
window, highlight its name in the Select
fields window and press Enter.
5. Press F10 to return to the data entry screen.
6. Press F10 to start the search, or choose fields to be
displayed as described below.

Choosing Displayed Fields

Data records are usually too long for complete display
on the ID-3000 screen. For this reason, the database
search feature allows you to choose the fields displayed
in the window. (The displayed fields are independent of
the sorting described above. If desired, records can be
sorted by fields not displayed in the window.)
If you do not choose any fields, the system will display
those specified when your ID-3000 system was installed.
