Making a New ID Card

To issue an ID card to an applicant who has not pre-
viously had a card made with this system or to update
the portrait on a person's card, use the following proce-
dure.
General steps for making a new ID card
1. Select the portrait source (video portrait camera or por-
trait scanner) if it has changed since the previous
portrait was captured.
2. Enter or correct the applicant's data.
3. Capture and store the applicant's signature (only for
ID-3000 systems equipped for signature capture).
4. Capture and store the applicant's portrait.
5. Send the ID card images and data to the film output
unit for printing.
6. If your system prints two ID cards on each sheet of in-
stant film, repeat steps 1-5 for a second applicant.
7. Die cut and laminate the ID cards.
