Issue and Verification Overview
Five issue and verification functions are accessible from
the ID-3000 issue and verify menu:
Make a New
ID Card
Capture
Images Only
Enter
Applicant
Data Only
Verify
Applicant
Reissue ID
Card
A sixth selection, Adjust System , allows adjustment
of the film output unit (page 99), the video camera (page
113), the portrait scanner (page 143), and the signature
scanner (page 121).
CARD ISSUE AND VERIFICATION
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Issue an ID card to an applicant
who has not had a card made with
this system; or update an appli-
cant's portrait and data before is-
suing a replacement card (page
25).
Capture and store the applicant's
portrait for making a card at a later
time (page 47).
Enter or update applicant data
without capturing a portrait (page
63).
Verify applicant information that
was previously stored with this
system. The applicant's portrait
can also be retrieved for review
(page 68).
Reissue an ID card using data
and a portrait previously stored
with the system (page 72).
